CAN YOU TELL ME HOW LONG AN EPISODE CAN LAST. I SPENT THE MORNING AND PART AFTERNOON IN THE HOSPITAL. WOKE UP WITH VERTIGO 1ST TIME..I'M ONLY 56 (HA HA ONLY) BUT AM VERY CONCERNED THE MEDS THEY GAVE ME HELPED. I GO TO MY OWN DR. TOMORROW. JUST NEED SOME REASURING FROM THOSE WHO HAVE HAD THIS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP. GOD BLESS

I get chronic vertigo from MS. Do you also have MS? I can get it anywhere from several minutes to several weeks, although it tends to be less than a day in duration. I had it again about a week ago and Dramamine actually worked. Let me know about your doctor's visit---hope the vertigo has left!
